Position Description
Seneca Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Product Analyst to join a high-performing technology team supporting enterprise banking and collections initiatives. This role serves as the critical link between business stakeholders, product management, and engineering teams by translating complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical expertise with a deep understanding of banking and collections processes, APIs, data models, and Agile product development. You will leverage data-driven insights to influence product strategy, improve user experiences, and ensure technical solutions align with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements, functional specifications, and solution documentation.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and insights that support product strategy and business decisions.
Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation for Agile development teams.
Collaborate with software engineers, architects, QA teams, and business partners throughout the product development lifecycle.
Validate delivered functionality through testing, requirement verification, and user acceptance support prior to production deployment.
Drive continuous process improvements and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.
Provide subject matter expertise in banking and collections business processes while supporting strategic product initiatives.
Mentor team members and promote best practices for requirements gathering, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Effectively communicate technical concepts and data-driven recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Support multiple high-priority initiatives while maintaining project quality, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills/Education
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience as a Technical Product Analyst, Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Software Development professional.
Strong domain expertise in Banking, Financial Services, and Collections.
Deep understanding of APIs, system integrations, data models, and enterprise application architecture.
Proven experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
Hands-on experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional documentation.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business data.
Experience supporting Agile software development methodologies and working closely with Scrum teams.
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives from concept through delivery.
Excellent organizational, planning, and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills with experience communicating technical information to executive and business stakeholders.
Proven ability to build strong partnerships across business units, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Professional certifications such as CSPO, SAFe, PMI-PBA, CBAP, Scrum, or Agile certifications.
Experience leading enterprise-scale digital transformation or process automation initiatives.
Knowledge of financial services technology platforms and modern product management practices.
