What you will do The Technical Operator works in small teams focused on the safe and efficient harvest of polysilicon from reactors to ensure continuous operations. To complete this task, Technical Operators will:

• Open and reassemble reactors
• Operate various forms of mobile equipment and overhead cranes
• Input batch and downtime information into digital tracking systems
• Report on various production issues and provide feedback to technical staff

Technical Operators will work with management to achieve reactor turnaround standards and also to find ways to optimize and continuously improve efficiencies, throughput, and uptime. Technical Operators will have support staff as needed and they are expected to contact them whenever additional expertise is required. Operators are obligated to follow company policies regarding health and environmental protection, work safety, plant safety, and quality. Operators are responsible for RCRA generation as relating to container and labeling usage, maintenance and storage functions, and regular inspections of RCRA applicable areas, as well as other duties as they are assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and reassembling reactors to harvest polysilicon
• Working with management to achieve reactor turnaround standards
• Inputting downtime information into the downtime tracking system
• Reporting on production issues and providing feedback to technical staff
• Ensuring housekeeping and 6S standards are met in assigned areas
• Contacting appropriate personnel when additional expertise is required
• Identifying opportunities to improve throughput and uptime
• Following company policies regarding health and environmental protection, work safety, plant safety, and quality
• Being responsible for RCRA generation as relating to container and labeling usage, maintenance and storage functions, and regular inspections of RCRA applicable areas
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED are required

TYPE OF EXPERIENCE NEEDED Technical and mechanical aptitude as well as basic computer skills

TYPE OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR LICENSING/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

• Physical strength and endurance are essential for this position
• The ability to effectively communicate with team members and other stakeholders
• Skill set to operate in a fast-paced production environment while focusing on safety, quality, and precision
• Must be able to be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, and vibration
• Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
• Be able to work day shift, second shift, or rotating swing shift
