We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Technical / Network Support Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Allen, TX. On site. Details of the position are as follows: 
 
Job Details:
  • 6 – 12 mo assignment, possibility of extension.
  • This position supports 24/7 operations; training is 2 months 7am to 4pm CST. Hour of operations are 7am to 6pm, shift will be based on business need.
  • Position will perform both technical and administrative responsibilities supporting day to day operations and ensuring service excellence.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact via phone, email, and other communication channels. Respond to incidents in compliance with service level agreements.
  • Manage the end-to-end incident lifecycle including root cause identification.
 
Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree OR equivalent technical education (certification) required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Experience in a remote technical support environment
  • Strong networking knowledge including protocols, infrastructure, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with WAN, LAN, routers, and firewalls. Knowledge of VoIP and IP telephony. TCP/IP.
  • RF trunking and communication network knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Office or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with mobile radio technologies.
  • Understanding of information security best practices.
  • Foundational ITIL knowledge.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Must be willing to adapt to using AI.
 
Certifications (Preferred):
• Network+ ( a plus and preferred most)
• A+
• Security+
• AI related certifications
