Title: Technical Liaison
Location: 30% Remote – This position requires the ability to travel up to 70% of time in the united states.



Required Education Level: Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent
Required Experience (Years): 15 Years
Substitution Criteria: 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

Description:
Dedicated, site-level technical electronic health implementation expert to work independently with other information services applying specific knowledge, skills, and abilities to ensure the Cerner and EHRM-IO goals to Cerner implementation is optimize for the delivery of technical support of the EHRM-IO Strategic plan. Ensuring this level of optimization requires close work with Client, BioMed, FMS and other technical pillars, clinical and support services, project managers and other information service professional to enumerate requirements from the various groups of stakeholders. Use knowledge of technical dependencies to autonomously advise and participate the implementation of electronic medical record technologies.

Minimum qualifications:
• 15+ years of professional work experience
• Must create strategies and plans for integration of multiple IT systems/subsystems into an operational unit, ensuring full functional and performance capabilities are retained.
• Coordinate with development and user teams to assess risks, goals and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed.
• Must be experienced in introducing new hardware or software into a new or existing environment while minimizing disruption and mitigating risks.
• Must be cost conscience as well addressing goals.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent or an additional 8 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements

Preferred qualifications:
• VA experience preferred (VA refers to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the federal agency serving veterans' healthcare and benefits.)
• Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
