Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to oversee application development, maintenance, and security mitigation. In this role, you will balance traditional software engineering with proactive application security, specifically focusing on monitoring and mitigating bot attack traffic. You will leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive project progress, implement defense policies, and collaborate with engineering teams to automate threat responses.
Key Responsibilities
  • Engineering & Delivery: Code, test, debug, implement, and document new software programs and system enhancements.
  • Bot Mitigation & Monitoring: Actively monitor application traffic for bot attacks, analyze threat patterns, and design new security policies to mitigate risks.
  • Change Management: Perform structured change management tasks to safely deploy and execute new security policies in production environments.
  • Automation & Collaboration: Partner with core Engineering teams to identify repetitive attack vectors and implement automated mitigation solutions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide routine updates on application documentation changes, keeping project leadership and end-users continuously advised of progress.
Required Technical Skills
  • Core Programming: Strong, hands-on development experience in Python and Java.
  • API & Architecture: Deep understanding of API Management, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture.
  • Application Security: Proven experience in traffic analysis, bot detection, and implementing security mitigation policies.
  • Automation: Practical knowledge of automation scripting and tools to streamline repetitive security and operational tasks.
Managerial & Soft Skills
  • Project Leadership: Ability to guide technical tasks, manage project timelines, and align developer outputs with business requirements.
  • Structured Change Management: Experience navigating enterprise change control processes for seamless deployments.
  • Clear Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to translate complex security threats into actionable updates for leadership and end-users.
