Technical Lead

Job Description: Technical Lead - BBx (Business Basics)

Overview The Technical Lead for BBx is responsible for maintaining and enhancing software applications supporting accounting, ERP, and inventory systems. This role requires expertise in Business Basic dialects such as Basis BBx, PRO/5, with a strong focus on legacy system support, troubleshooting, and custom reporting. The lead also serves as a key liaison between technical teams and business users.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Develop, code, and test new modules for ERP, financial, and operational systems.

Debugging & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve user reported issues to improve system performance and reliability.

Data Management

• Work with keyed file systems, perform data manipulation, and support data conversions.

Documentation

• Create and maintain technical documentation, including workflow diagrams and system specifications.

Collaboration

• Partner with IT teams and business users to gather requirements, analyze issues, and support system enhancements.

Salary Range: $100,000- $120,000 a year
