This is a contingent position based upon contract award KBR is seeking a Technical Lead to join our team. In this role you will be key personnel responsible for supporting the integration and implementation of end-to-end solutions into the enterprise and participate in the requirements process as directed by the Government. The Technical Lead will work through a variety of efforts to identify integration risks (e.g. technical schedule, or performance), opportunities for process improvements, and recommend best practices. Responsibilities: + Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. + Analyzes system requirements and provides support to design and development activities. + Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. + Provides technical guidance and support for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. + Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts. + Communicate with other program personnel and government staff Minimum Qualifications: + Ten (10) or more years’ experience with technical or programmatic integration roles + Bachelor's Degree + Demonstrated experience with technical project management + Experience providing recommendations to address issues and shortfalls in security, vulnerability, confidentiality, integrity, and availability + Experience providing systems engineering support to evaluate utility and demand for capabilities, systems, and services and suggest modifications + Demonstrated experience executing and managing end-use requirements gathering and curation activities for Information Technology (IT) systems and services + Excellent communication skills with the ability to present results to senior leaders + Experience supporting the federal government or DoD + Active TS/SCI clearance is required Desired Qualifications: + Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or its DoD equivalent or coursework + Enterprise Architecture Certification (e.g. TOGAF) + Experience as a technical writer Basic Compensation: $169,000 - $206,500 (This is for the Washington, DC Metro Area Only) The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
