Job Title : Technical Lead
Location : Hybrid
Position Type : Contract
US Citizen, Green Card only.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Manage to a timeline and communicate to IT and PMO when project scope or timelines change, or additional resources are needed
  • Work with project stakeholders to identify and develop requirements
  • Design, develop, and implement complex database applications using Stored Procedures, User-Defined functions, views, etc.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues with database code
  • Develop database applications using industry-standard security measures
  • Commitment toward continuous improvement of database development practices
  • Lead production support with operational issues including occasional on-call duties
  • Write, maintain, and review functional and technical specifications
  • Create scripts for data integration, data maintenance, and automation
Essential Skills :
  • B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related discipline and a minimum of 5 years software development experience required.
  • Diverse technology experience (across databases, operating environments, application platforms, delivery models, etc.)
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL development - MS SQL Server experience preferred
  • 2+ years of T-SQL development
  • 2+ years of experience with tuning and optimizing database performance
  • A passion for database code development
  • Very strong problem-solving skills
