Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Field Technician in Miami, FL (Florida). Duties:
  • Conduct daily visits to locations within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) to resolve technical issues and accurately document all activities in ServiceNow (SNOW)
  • Perform on site installations, repairs, maintenance, and functional testing of restaurant technology systems, including imaging devices, network cabling, POS systems, KDS screens, printers, and other equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
  • Adhere to all clients' operational procedures and required safety protocols
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external technical teams to support incident resolution and restoration efforts
  • Understand customer needs, provide informed recommendations, and deliver clear technical briefings when necessary
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with on-site staff, internal support teams, and vendor partners
  • Participate in meetings to share field insights, escalate concerns, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Train on site personnel on basic technical tasks to enhance their ability to address routine issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience; A degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer/Data Systems Management or a related field or discipline is preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of technical experience in desktop, application deployment, configuration management cabling and hardware installation
  • Experience with ServiceNow incident tracking while capable of holding vendors accountability for restoration efforts
  • Candidate must be comfortable with multitasking across several projects and managing several stakeholders at any given time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Business into technical details and vice versa
  • Problem-solving skills to diagnose problems with malfunctioning equipment
  • Self-motivated, trustworthy, with the ability to initiate team unity and encourage team morale
  • Time-management skills to handle appointments efficiently and stay on schedule
  • Required- ability to work weekends as needed, or based on individual support shift or role
  • Ability to work late nights based on individual project needs (limited requirements if at all)
  • Ability to speak Spanish would be a bonus, but not required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
