PAY RATE: $50.63/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

• Write, edit, and develop technical publications (manuals, procedures, specifications) for complex systems.

• Support Precision Fires programs (MLRS, HIMARS, GMLRS, ATACMS, PrSM).

• Develop Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), DMWRs, RPSTLs, and graphics per military/commercial standards.

• Collaborate with engineers, customers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Support technical data development within Logistics Management Information (LMI) systems (GEIA-STD-0007 compliant).

• Research and develop technical content using engineering drawings, specifications, and SME input.

• Ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with military standards.

• Prepare and oversee technical illustrations (diagrams, charts, graphics).

• Participate in technical reviews and customer meetings.

• Conduct quality reviews and validation of documentation.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance

• 3–5 years of experience in technical writing/publications

• Proficiency with XML and SGML

• Experience with Arbortext, UltraEdit, or similar tools

• Knowledge of MIL-STD-40051, MIL-STD-2361, MIL-PRF-63002, MIL-PRF-63033

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

• Experience developing maintenance manuals (installation, test, repair, troubleshooting)

• IETM development experience

• Experience creating graphics (e.g., IsoDraw or similar tools)

• Ability to research and validate technical content with cross-functional teams

• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
