Job Title: Technical Designer – Pink Apparel
Location: Manhattan, NY (Onsite)
Work Model: Onsite
Compensation: $93-98k
- Working 4-5 days a week.
- Must be willing to come onsite.
- Looking for resources that have participated or owned their own fittings, can write up fit comments & pattern correction, have centric training, excel/illustrator/Flex PLM etc.

POSITION OVERVIEW
We anticipate an upcoming opportunity for an experienced Technical Designer specializing in women's intimates/apparel. This individual will partner with Design, Product Development, and vendors to ensure garments meet fit, construction, quality, and manufacturing standards from initial development through production.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Individual contributor position responsible for executing the technical design process from development to final fit.
- Responsible for analyzing and evaluating garments to develop the correct fit specifications.
- Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities and cost specifications.
- Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors/factories for approvals and corrections.
- Makes appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure integrity of design approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.
- Typically reports to Technical Services Manager.
- Typically directs Assistant or Associate Technical Designers.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, or equivalent experience
WHAT’S NEEDED
- 7+ years experience in technical design with intimates/apparel
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, grading, patternmaking, and apparel manufacturing.
- Experience developing technical packages and communicating directly with factories/vendors.
- Ability to identify fit issues and recommend practical construction solutions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
