Technical Designer (Apparel Retail) (Onsite-San Francisco, CA)
We are seeking a Technical Designer to support garment development through fit, construction, and specification execution. In this role, you will translate design concepts into technical specifications, ensure consistent fit and construction standards, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver high-quality products aligned to brand and customer expectations.
This is a 40-hour per week, 5-month contract (possible extension), an onsite role in San Francisco, CA.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
A general understanding and practical application of garment construction, patternmaking, alterations, and grading
Well-versed in Fit, Construction, and Quality; strong understanding of the brand, customer, and cost requirements
Understanding of PLM software or Tech Pack Management system
Provide input on fit & construction risk management
Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to recommend solutions.
Requirements:
Ensure Physical and Digital samples comply with brand standards throughout the product creation process.
Foundational knowledge of 3D rendering and/or digital pattern software is preferred.
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software (Centric preferred)
Experience with Garment construction.
Experience with Patternmaking.

Compensation: $46/hr. - $51.70/hr.
