High school diploma or GED; 2 years of technical school preferred
Minimum of 3+ years of basic customer service and/or order/data entry experience (relevant technical experience will be considered)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate customer records and documentation
Responsibilities:
Answer customer phone calls and develop technical quotations for brushes, brush holders, and molded brushes for end users, distributors, and OEM customers
Respond to customer concerns, issues, and questions, and enter, route, and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery
Act as subject matter specialist to help customers identify the right product and receive samples using measuring tools to gather dimensions
Work with design and production teams to communicate customer needs, identify feasible solutions, and perform technical product costing and pricing
Enter data into company database including master maintenance, customer documentation, and application database, and learn company part numbering system and search tools
