Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Data Business Analyst to join a well-established organization in Oklahoma. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who excels at translating complex business needs into actionable insights and scalable data solutions. The Technical Data Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging business operations and data analytics. This individual will leverage advanced data visualization and process analysis skills to improve decision-making, optimize workflows, and enhance patient and operational outcomes. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of experience in data visualization and process analysis, with hands-on expertise in tools such as Tableau and Snowflake. The position will be required to work on-site, full-time in either Oklahoma City or Tulsa. Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This position is not open to corp-to-corp, subcontractor or independent consulting arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, technology-enabled solutions, serving as a strategic partner to executive leadership and enterprise stakeholders.
- Drive awareness of system requirements across business units and evaluate real-time data to identify substandard system processes.
- Develop and validate user requirements for systems in production, ensuring optimal usability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (operations, finance, clinical, support, billing, etc.) to analyze needs and document solutions effectively.
- Analyze data from multiple systems (such as Computer Aided Dispatch, Electronic Health Records, Billing, Logistics) to identify trends and optimize organizational efficiency.
- Work with relational and non-relational data sources (SQL, Snowflake, SharePoint, etc.) and visualize data using platforms like Crystal Reports, Tableau, Power BI.
- Present data insights to shareholders and facilitate testing and implementation of process improvements.
- Maintain professionalism, effective communication, confidentiality, and adhere to safety, compliance, and organizational policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on organizational needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Five or more years of progressive business or technical analysis experience.
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise systems and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of healthcare, EMS, or public safety operations preferred.
- Advanced SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience with enterprise BI tools and data warehousing, ETL processes, APIs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to influence outcomes without direct supervision.
- Able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Proficient in conceptualizing long-term goals and developing organized processes.
- Capacity to build effective partnerships across diverse groups.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
- Physical ability to walk, sit, stand, move, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Work performed in an office and off-site; noise levels may vary.
