Technical Business Analyst - Life / Annuity Experience

Our client, a growing firm with deep expertise in the life and annuities sector is looking for a couple new Business Analysts to grow their team. You will work directly with clients to help implement and support the product line.
As a Business Analyst, you will be hands-on with the technical configuration, working closely with a Project Manager to build out new business processes and policy administration workflows. You will have a blend of technical and business process expertise

Responsibilities:

• Configure new business workflows and policy administration.
• Design and configure business processes.
• Design, test, and troubleshoot platform configuration including rules, data model, and integration.
• Develop and maintain configuration documentation and best practices.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to translate insurance business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Client point person, translating customer requirements into configuration improvements and product recommendations.
• Support customer testing efforts and troubleshoot issues during implementation.
• Present capabilities to customers and share configuration options
• Support demos and implementation conversations to prospects and clients.

Skills:

• Experience with the Life and Annuity Insurance sector
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience with implementing SaaS software solutions
• Experience with AI configuration a plus
• SQL skills
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (JIRA, Confluence) preferred
