KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Proficient in the use of computers and the ability to use a variety of computer applications software such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Considerable knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Excellent grammar, vocabulary, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading skills
- Ability to compose, compile, and summarize information
- Ability to efficiently gather and analyze data
- Ability to prioritize and schedule variable tasks
- Ability to exercise good judgment, take initiative, and work with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to interact and communicate with staff and the public
- Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations
- Ability to be flexible and work well with others
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- Minimum of a two-year degree and one year of related work experience

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform usual office routines and practices associated with a busy and productive office.
- Operate microcomputer, scanner, copier, fax machine, and printer.
- Prepare general correspondence, memos, reports, and newsletters as directed.
- Receive and distribute incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintain records as directed.
- Maintain personnel file for Career Technical Education teachers.
- Maintain up-to-date vendor catalog file.
- Assist coordinators and secretary-treasurer as needed.
- Assist with Career Technical Education testing process.
- Assist with scanning, scoring, and maintaining Career and Technical Education State Assessments.
- Deliver and retrieve equipment.
- Participate in training deemed appropriate for the position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The ability to be physically active, which includes but is not limited to:
- Standing
- Pushing
- Pulling

- Bending
- Sitting
- Walking
- Ability to reach with hands and arms routinely.
- Ability to operate technology for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to carry furniture such as tables and chairs, supplies, and materials.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and drive delivery vehicle, station wagon, van, and/or truck to a variety of sites.
- Must be able to visually and auditorily effectively communicate with staff and students.
