With a collaborative, family-oriented culture and the resources of a larger organization, the company provides employees with the opportunity to make a direct impact while receiving strong support from internal technical, operational, and commercial teams.Job DescriptionManage and grow an established territory covering the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast U.S. Develop new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships. Present technical products and process solutions to customers. Conduct customer visits, process reviews, and technical audits. Support customer evaluations, product trials, and installations. Identify and pursue equipment-related opportunities in addition to chemical sales. Work closely with internal technical, product management, operations, and service teams. Coordinate customer projects and ensure successful implementation of solutions. Develop territory plans, sales forecasts, and growth strategies. Identify profitable market opportunities and target accounts. Serve as a trusted technical and commercial resource to customers throughout the sales process. Support long-term territory expansion and business growth initiatives.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical discipline. 5+ years of technical sales and/or technical service experience within specialty chemicals, metal finishing, manufacturing, process engineering, or related industries. Experience with electroplating, electroless plating, metal preparation, surface treatment, or similar industrial processes preferred. Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and grow existing customer relationships. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to discuss applications, processes, and manufacturing challenges with customers. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong territory management and customer relationship-building abilities. Experience working within industrial, electronics manufacturing, or process manufacturing environments preferred. Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote territory-based role. Ability to identify and pursue profitable business opportunities. Process engineering experience is a plus. Existing industry relationships within the territory are beneficial but not required. Spanish language skills are a plus.
