Technical Account Manager, Nefab AmericasWe are looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our team in Chicago.In this role you will be the first point of contact for packaging engineers within a Key Account, developing strong customer satisfaction by understanding needs and translating them into smarter packaging solutions that reduce total cost and CO impact. Your responsibilities include coordinating and managing technical projects, leading customer‑facing workshops, and ensuring alignment between customer requirements and Nefab's technical and supply‑chain offerings. You will work closely with Engineering Centers, Sourcing, Manufacturing and other stakeholders globally, supporting commercial success and sustainability goals.EducationBachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent documented work experience within packaging designExperienceMore than 5 years of experience as a Packaging Engineer or within Technical SalesMore than 5 years of experience as an industrial CAD designerAt least 3 years of experience in corrugated packaging designSkills And CompetenciesStrong project management and problem‑solving skillsAdvanced computer skills in MS Office (PowerPoint in particular)Advanced CAD experience (e.g., IronCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, NX/Unigraphics)Experience working with PDM systemsStrong communication and networking skillsSales‑oriented mindset with experience working directly with customersAbility to match customer demands with Nefab offerings and competitive supply‑chain setupsExperience with sustainability topics such as LCA, CO reporting, and environmental materialsLanguagesEnglish – ProfessionalAdditional languages are considered a plusNefab is an equal opportunity employer, embracing diversity and inclusion.
