Do you have strong electrical maintenance experience and enjoy solving complex problems while leading by example? The City of Greensboro is seeking a skilled Lead Maintenance Tech – Electrical to join our Building Maintenance Division.
This position is ideal for an experienced electrical professional who is ready to work independently, coordinate electrical maintenance projects, mentor teammates, and help maintain the City's critical infrastructure. From fire stations and recreation centers to municipal office buildings, you'll play an important role in keeping City facilities safe, secure, and operational.

About the Role
The Lead Maintenance Tech – Electrical assists with electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, renovation, and repair work throughout City facilities while providing technical leadership to the maintenance team.
Working under the direction of the Electrician, Maintenance Mechanics, and/or Supervisor, this position coordinates electrical work, assists in project planning, and demonstrates the ability to lead others while working independently.
Primary responsibilities include:
The position requires bending, standing, walking, kneeling, climbing ladders, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys problem-solving, mentoring others, and delivering quality workmanship.
