Role summary
Seeking a highly experienced
ServiceNow Security Operations professional
with deep hands on expertise in
Vulnerability Response (VR)
and
Configuration Compliance (CC)
configuration, implementation, and optimization. The role is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting scalable SecOps workflows that ingest scanner data, correlate findings to CMDB assets, prioritize work using business and threat context, and orchestrate remediation through IT operations and change processes.
The ideal candidate will be strong in end to end ServiceNow solutioning across
scanner integrations, CMDB alignment, remediation workflows, risk based prioritization, task orchestration, dashboards, and governance controls . The role should be able to translate security and compliance requirements into robust platform configuration with minimal custom code and strong operational sustainability.
Core responsibilities
Vulnerability Response
Configure and enhance
ServiceNow Vulnerability Response
to ingest, normalize, and manage findings from third party scanners and vulnerability sources.
Design and maintain workflows for
vulnerability grouping, assignment, remediation task creation, prioritization, SLA management, and exception handling .
Configure
risk based prioritization
using CVE severity, exploitability, threat intelligence, internet exposure, business criticality, and service context from the CMDB.
Enable tight coordination between security, infrastructure, application, and change teams for patching and remediation execution.
Configuration Compliance
mport sets, transform maps, business rules, ACL awareness, notifications, reports, and dashboards.
Preferred experience
Experience implementing
risk based vulnerability management
and tuning prioritization rules using threat intelligence and business context.
Exposure to
GRC / Policy and Compliance
use cases tied to configuration findings and control monitoring.
Familiarity with service aware security operations, remediation metrics, and operational reporting in enterprise environments.
Experience working in large, federated environments with multiple remediation teams, support groups, and asset owners.
ServiceNow certifications relevant to
System Administrator, Application Developer, Implementation Specialist, or Security Operations .
