The Tech Keying / Balancing Clerk I is responsible for the data entry of account and transaction items that were not properly captured at the branch level. This position also adjusts and corrects errors to ensure entries are balanced. Key Responsibilities: Performs key entry of all data as appears in queue for daily work such as account numbers, checks, cash tickets and transit items. Reviews keyed entries and writes adjustments or correct errors as necessary to balance items and ensure accuracy. Prepares daily assigned logs, reports and worksheets and assists with item processing projects. Performs other job related duties or special projects as assigned. Competencies Required: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, MS Word) and 10-key by touch data entry. Ability to demonstrate advanced data entry skills. Excellent organizational, data entry and multi-tasking skills with the ability to maintain accuracy and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Good written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter possessing the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment. Good customer service skills with the ability to effectively research and resolve issues and discrepancies. Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines. Ability to work flexible hours; demonstrated good attendance and punctuality. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications/Experience: 1-3 years banking or financial services operations experience. Formal Education & Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Work Status: Full-Time. Supervisory Responsibility: None Travel: 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.
