Summary:
Works within the NPI control assembly area to assemble and test products per specs, drawings, and work instructions. Position duties include interpreting and executing complex control drawings, performing electrical diagnostic testing and functional verification, and expertly aligning and positioning components for assembly.
Position Duties:
- Interprets and executes complex control drawings using blueprints, schematics, and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), ensuring precision in every step, including advanced soldering techniques.
- Performs electrical diagnostic testing and functional verification on assembled units, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure optimal performance and quality compliance.
- Expertly aligns and positions components for assembly, applying deep technical understanding to interpret engineering specifications and SWIs.
- Operates within a collaborative workstation environment, assembling intricate mechanical or electrical systems to exacting production standards, often handling multiple critical parts.
- Adapts swiftly to evolving production demands, providing hands-on support across departments, troubleshooting issues, and implementing real-time adjustments with minimal supervision.
- Applies broad and practical understanding of electromechanical devices, leveraging deep knowledge to identify issues, optimize designs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Quick to learn cross-functional skills and expand capabilities.
- Attention to detail: Shows initiative, actively identifying and resolving issues without delay.
- Prior experience: In manufacturing or assembly, producing high-quality electromechanical components.
- Skilled in soldering for reliable electrical connections.
- High School diploma or GED with strong technical foundation.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics for accurate builds.
- Able to verify unit functionality against final drawing specifications.
- Strong English communication skills for reading, understanding, and collaborating.
