Playa Bowls Dayton is looking for part-time Team Members who bring energy, reliability, and a guest-first attitude to every shift. If you enjoy working with people, moving quickly, learning new skills, and being part of a positive team, this could be a great fit.

As a Team Member, you’ll help guests choose their favorite bowls and smoothies, prepare menu items with care, keep the shop clean and stocked, and support the team during each shift. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive attitude matter.

What You’ll Do

Team Members are responsible for creating a great guest experience while helping keep the shop running smoothly. Your responsibilities may include:

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, helpful service
• Answer menu questions and help guests choose bowls, smoothies, and other items
• Take food and beverage orders accurately
• Use the Clover POS system to process transactions
• Prepare bowls, smoothies, juices, and other menu items according to Playa Bowls standards
• Assemble orders with attention to accuracy, portion size, garnishing, and presentation
• Check products for freshness, consistency, flavor, quality, and appearance
• Perform food prep and service tasks as assigned
• Keep counters, prep areas, service stations, dining areas, and tables clean and organized
• Restock ingredients, supplies, condiments, and inventory throughout the shift
• Receive food and beverage deliveries and verify quality, quantity, and accuracy
• Communicate food shortages, guest concerns, product issues, or operational needs to the Shift Leader or manager
• Support teammates during busy periods
• Follow food safety, cleanliness, and company standards

• Detail-oriented when preparing food and completing orders

• Interested in fresh food, smoothies, bowls, and the Playa Bowls brand

Previous restaurant, café, retail, food service, or customer service experience is helpful, but not required.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Valid driver’s license preferred but not required unless needed for specific store duties
• Must be able to work assigned part-time shifts, which may include weekdays, weekends, holidays, mornings, afternoons, or evenings depending on store needs
• Must be able to follow food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and company standards

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand for extended periods during a shift
• Move throughout the shop to assist guests, prepare food, restock supplies, clean, and complete assigned tasks
• Lift, carry, or move items as needed during normal restaurant operations
• Reach items on shelves, in coolers, freezers, storage areas, and under counters
• Work around common restaurant equipment and sounds, including blenders, timers, and order notifications
