Shift and Pay 1st shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, M-F Pay range starting at $18.00 per hour

Scope of Work Supervise employees in a manufacturing environment. Work with Operations Supervisor to plan and assign work, ensure policies and procedures are being followed, and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.

Education and Experience Education: Minimum - High School Diploma Experience: 1-3 years of supervisory level in Manufacturing preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assembly and PIM Managing throughput and continuous quality improvements within general guidelines of Lean manufacturing Performing duties and sharing goals as part of a participative work team Regularly communicating with Supervisor, team members, and support personnel on all issues impacting product production quality and safety across shifts and departments Providing input to Supervisor related to budgeting of tooling materials, etc. Scheduling day-to-day work and staffing vacations/absences of work team Using problem-solving techniques to analyze, find root cause, and permanently correct problems related to all aspects of cell operation Providing direct input to Supervisor regarding the evaluation of team members performance and taking appropriate disciplinary action as necessary Must be capable of filling in for assigned team members to maintain work flow Assisting Supervisor with leading personnel in day-to-day requirements, conducting team meetings, providing regular performance feedback, and tracking performance of team members Assisting Supervisor with the supervision of personnel, including hiring and retention, performance management, and discipline Assisting with department planning over a 30-day time span and preparing action plans to achieve results

Logistics Achieve personal team and company goals Lead team of order pickers, shipping, receiving, or other personnel to proficiently complete the order process Train, coach, and provide direction and guidance to direct reports, including systems training and process training Improve picking efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with business and customer requirements Schedule work, give clear direction, delegate duties, and hold team accountable with performance indicators Complete time sheets, vacation requests, and other personnel duties excluding disciplinary actions Ensure deliveries and receipt of goods and supplies are processed in a timely manner Communicate shortages, damage, and discrepancies to department staff that may be affected by such issues Maintain inventory accuracy by physical movement and also electronic movement utilizing company software systems Improve rating and shipping efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with business and customer requirements Support business goals around carrier usage, cost, etc. Lead dock operations efficiently and effectively, including managing order staging areas, truck loading operations, dock material flow, etc. Lead audit process of picking, audit, inspect shipments for order accuracy and customer compliance, and adherence to internal processes Ensure on-time freight processing to ensure high levels of customer service Lead team in cost reduction to the bottom line by reducing unnecessary costs Lead the pick, pack, label, and ship process Maintain and communicate customer specifications and requirements Investigate issues, problem-solving, and continuous improvement for all aspects of the job Cross-train in other areas of Logistics and be able to perform other logistics tasks at a reasonable level, including Fulfillment, Scheduling, Shipping, Audit Cycle Count, etc. Maintain inventory accuracy by establishing and improving processes Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Identify and report any safety hazards immediately Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish goals Follow defined processes and identify opportunities to redefine processes Provide suggestions and feedback to management

Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment Within any of our facilities, employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise, airborne liquid chemicals, fine particulate dust, ambient temperatures, and industrial lighting. Work environment is similar to most manufacturing and distribution operations. May be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, work in confined quarters, exposure to vibrations and shop lighting, continuous exposure to hot temperatures, may be humid, odors, dust, continuous exposure to mechanical hazards, and occasional exposure to chemical hazards.

The following Personal Protective Equipment is required: • Safety glasses with side shields and hearing protection required when on the manufacturing floor • The use of additional personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when a job task is being completed in or around your assigned department or in another department, including safety eyewear, hearing protection, and safety footwear.
