Job Description:
This roll will be responsible for instructing participants in the rules and techniques of gymnastics.
Examples of Duties:
Develops, promotes and coordinates lessons, instructional programs, and clinics.
Instructs recreation classes as well as team instruction.
Choreographs routines or classes.
Monitors the progress and development of the athletes.
Assists other organizations (schools, etc.) with lessons and teams.
Maintains record keeping and other financial record for instructional program(s).
Monitors the condition of equipment.
Will require travel on weekends to team events.
Applies skill progression to all recreation participants, spotting techniques and guidelines as outlined by USAG.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Associate's degree (AA/AS) in a related field and 4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to earn First Aid & CPR certifications within 6 months of hire.
USA Gymnastics Safety Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Rec Trac software knowledge.
Other Necessary Requirements:
May require evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
