Behavioral Support
- Provide direct support to students with behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs during the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), accommodations, and support strategies as directed by special education staff and related service providers.
- Assist students in maintaining appropriate behavior in classroom, community-based, and recreational settings.
- Utilize positive behavior supports, reinforcement systems, and de-escalation techniques to promote student success.
- Assist with supervision and safety of students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, and other school-related activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, behavior specialists, therapists, and other staff members to ensure consistent implementation of student support plans.
Terms & Conditions of Employment: Contractual
Valid NYS Certification Required. ABA experience preferred.
Must have knowledge of behavior management.
