Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid CT Certificate for Special Education 165 065
Experience working as a Special Education Teacher preferred but not required

Role Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education plans IEPs for students with special needs tailored to their unique learning styles and abilities.
Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in various academic subjects social skills and life skills adapting teaching strategies to meet their needs.
Collaborate with other educators parents and support staff to monitor student progress adjust instructional approaches and ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
