High School Teacher with Defensive Football Coordinator Duties

Salary Range: $59,300 - $75,445 Minimum - Maximum
Pay Grade: Teacher Schedule
Primary Purpose: Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Qualifications:
- Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
- Minimum 3-5 years of defensive coordinator experience, preferred
- Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of subject(s) assigned General knowledge of curriculum and instruction and defensive schemes, adjustments modern offensive trends Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, leadership presence Significant varsity defensive leadership experience High energy, passionate and competitive growth mindset
