Job Summary: Provide professional development and technical assistance to school personnel to meet district needs regarding coordination and implementation of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA). Possible support of districts implementing Texas Strategic Staffing (TSS) and other TEA initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education/Training:
Bachelor Degree or required license
Prefer Master Degree in related field
Experience:
At least 7 years of related experience.
Prefer central office or campus-level administrative experience
Knowledge / Skills:
Ability to build, develop and inspire teams

Excellent communication
Financial knowledge
Knowledge of Teacher Incentive Allotment
Knowledge of Texas Strategic Staffing
Experience in teacher induction programs Experience as a mentor teacher for preservice teachers
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Must be able to maintain emotional control under stress
Work with frequent interruptions; irregular hours
Frequent regional travel; occasional statewide travel
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Plan and implement services to schools applying for and implementing the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) and Texas Strategic Staffing (TSS)
- Work collaboratively with ESC 7 center directors and their staff in planning and implementing services
- Partner with TEA, other ESCs, and state and national agencies, as appropriate, to support TIA and TSS schools
- Routinely monitor the TSS webpage
- Develop district communications with TIA and TSS schools and keep communications up-to-date
- Analyze program evaluation data and conduct a comprehensive needs assessment for ongoing program planning and improvement
- Participate in formal and informal professional development activities based on needs assessment data, job descriptions, performance evaluation, and job goals
- Travel for TIA and TSS trainings that are out of region
- Regular and reliable attendance.
