Teacher Assistant

Location: Sterling, VA (Locals only)
Contract Duration: 45 Weeks
Shift: Morning Shift
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 2:45 PM
Hours: 7.75 Hours/Day
Local Pay: $20 – $22/Hour

Job Summary

Seeking a Teacher Assistant with at least 1 year of experience to support teachers and students in a classroom setting and help maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation.
• Support students with academic and classroom tasks.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and transitions.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Provide individual support to students as needed.
• Assist with classroom materials and administrative tasks.
• Encourage positive behavior and support students' social and educational development.
