Work Schedule: Evenings - 1 night per week, 5 hours total including prep (Thursday nights preferred)
Pay: $42.91/hour (BA) or $43.74/hour (MA) based on the teacher labor agreement

Qualifications:
Valid MN K-12 teaching license
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage projects from conception to productive execution
Adaptability to work in a team environment, flexibility, and proficiency in multiple teaching models
Previous experience working with teens or adult learners in an interactive, results-orientated environment preferred
Ability to adapt teaching methods based on students' strengths and weaknesses and prepare students to take the test to earn a high school equivalency credential
Ability to be curious, flexible, and function well in a busy environment with high expectations for students and staff
Digital literacy skills required, including integration of digital literacy into the student learning experience
Responsibilities:
Lesson planning and instruction, monitoring student attendance, collaborating with other staff, and integrating technology into learning
Align instruction to MN ABE Content Standards (CCRS, ACES/TIF, Northstar Digital Literacy)
Analyze student needs and assess progress with CASAS assessments
Use appropriate techniques for individual learning styles
Provide for individual as well as group learning
Responsible for record keeping for class and for accurately recording attendance, student progress, reasons for leaving the program
Participate in staff meetings as assigned by coordinator
Maintain levels of training criteria established by MDE ABE
