## Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) At YES Prep, we want to retain high-performing teachers in the place where they can have the greatest impact in the classroom. Through our Teacher Pathway, we reward our highest-performing teachers with yearly stipends, differentiated development, coaching, and unique opportunities to flex their influence.
YES Prep is also a TEA Teacher Incentive Allotment approved district. Teachers in eligible courses can earn up to an additional $32,000 a year if designated under TIA based on their performance on our Instructional Excellence Rubric and student growth for 5 years if they remain in the classroom.
This means that based on our teacher salary scale and TIA designation payouts, a TIA designated teacher could earn the following:

## The Perks
### Compensation This position is an exempt salaried position; salary offers commensurate with experience.
### Health and Supplemental Insurance A $0 monthly medical option that includes $600 towards a Health Savings Account, in addition to a variety of supplemental benefits including Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, etc. Employees must work 20 hours a week to be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits and 10 hours a week minimum for medical benefits.
### Retirement Plans Participation in Teacher Retirement System of Texas and a 457b Retirement Plan.
### Paid Time Off Employees working 20 hours a week receive 12 days of Paid Time Off in addition to the system closures during the Academic Calendar.
