The Idaho State Tax Commission is recruiting two skilled Taxpayer Services Specialist Leads to oversee daily operations in our Boise office, mentor staff, and serve as a key liaison between taxpayers and the agency. This role is ideal for a confident leader committed to excellence in public service.
Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 2 years of work experience that included interpreting, applying, and explaining federal and state tax laws, rules, or legal/administrative precedents
Completion of a class or seminar (more than 8 hours) covering supervisory practices OR a college level course that covered supervisory practices OR at least 3 months of lead work experience that included work assignment, direction, and monitoring staff
At least 1 year of work experience that included performing word processing functions including Microsoft Office to create and modify documents
At least 1 year of work experience interpreting and communicating technical or specialized material into written information understandable by the public
At least 1 year of work experience developing and making presentations before groups
