Location: Chandler or Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid)

We are partnered with a highly respected mid‑sized CPA firm in the Phoenix metro area, with offices in Chandler and Scottsdale. The firm is seeking a full‑time Tax Supervisor who enjoys building client relationships, mentoring team members, and growing within a supportive, people‑first environment.

The Role

As a Tax Supervisor, you will step into a leadership role overseeing tax compliance and review while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond Senior‑level responsibilities and is ready to supervise work, mentor staff, and own client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review individual, corporate, partnership, and other income tax returns
  • Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff while fostering collaboration and growth
  • Conduct tax research and prepare memoranda and recommendations
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients' businesses and identify planning opportunities
  • Proactively engage with clients to gather information, solve challenges, and provide guidance
  • Support additional tax and advisory services as needed
  • Primarily local travel within the Phoenix metro area

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • 4–7 years of public accounting tax experience
  • Active CPA license required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Prior experience reviewing returns and supervising staff
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project‑management skills
  • Professional, dependable, and client‑focused mindset
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality client service
