The Role
As a Tax Supervisor, you will step into a leadership role overseeing tax compliance and review while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond Senior‑level responsibilities and is ready to supervise work, mentor staff, and own client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Review individual, corporate, partnership, and other income tax returns
- Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff while fostering collaboration and growth
- Conduct tax research and prepare memoranda and recommendations
- Develop a strong understanding of clients' businesses and identify planning opportunities
- Proactively engage with clients to gather information, solve challenges, and provide guidance
- Support additional tax and advisory services as needed
- Primarily local travel within the Phoenix metro area
What Our Client Is Looking For
- 4–7 years of public accounting tax experience
- Active CPA license required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Prior experience reviewing returns and supervising staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project‑management skills
- Professional, dependable, and client‑focused mindset
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality client service
