Job Details

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare financial statements and accompanying footnote disclosures
• Plan and supervise audit and tax engagements, including staff supervision, budget monitoring, and status reporting
• Research and analyze accounting and tax issues as they come up on client engagements
• Provide on the job training and constructive feedback to less experienced staff
• Interact directly with client personnel to work through tax and accounting matters
• Use tax and audit software confidently as part of daily workflow

Needed:

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in accounting or business
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
• Experience preparing financial statements and footnote disclosures for a range of client types
• Strong background in planning and supervising both audit and tax engagements
• Proven ability to research technical accounting and tax issues and communicate findings clearly
• Comfortable training and giving feedback to junior staff
• Proficiency with tax and audit software
