LOCATION OF POSITION Annapolis, Maryland

POSITION DUTIES The Comptroller of Maryland Revenue Administration Division is seeking Tax Season employees to perform Data Verification, Data Entry, Mail opening Prep functions, Scanning, Clerical duties, and other related tasks. Scanning position requires constant standing and movement. The areas assigned are subject to change based on Division needs. Training will be provided. These positions will be available during Tax Filing Season.

Must be able to work in the Annapolis office in a full-time capacity.

SALARY $16.00 per hour

PLEASE NOTE These positions are located in the Annapolis office and work Monday-Friday shifts are available from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., or 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. For education obtained outside of the U.S., you will be required to provide proof of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service. If you possess a degree obtained outside of the United States, please submit a detailed course-by-course evaluation report from one of the U.S. equivalency evaluating members identified at http://www.naces.org/members.html.

BENEFITS Leave may be granted to a temporary employee who has worked 120 days in a 12-month period. This leave accrues at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, not to exceed 40 hours per calendar year.
