What You'll Do
- Lead the delivery of tax, accounting, consulting, and advisory services to a diverse client base.
- Review and sign complex federal and state tax returns.
- Serve as the primary advisor for closely held businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and middle-market clients.
- Develop and expand client relationships while identifying additional service opportunities.
- Drive new business development through referrals, networking, and strategic relationships.
- Recruit, mentor, coach, and develop tax professionals at all levels.
- Participate in hiring, performance reviews, compensation decisions, and succession planning.
- Maintain technical excellence through continuing education and leadership within the profession.
- Help shape firm initiatives, quality control standards, and strategic growth.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required.
- 10-15+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
- Extensive experience reviewing and signing complex tax returns.
- Strong technical expertise in federal and state taxation.
- Proven leadership managing multiple client engagements and developing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success generating new business and expanding client relationships.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
