TAX MANAGER / SENIOR TAX MANAGER / TAX DIRECTOR

Position Overview

We are seeking a Tax Manager, Senior Tax Manager, or Tax Director for a Phoenix-based organization. This is a full-time leadership position overseeing tax planning, compliance, and strategy for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee tax strategy and planning
• Manage tax compliance and filing obligations
• Prepare and review tax returns and documentation
• Conduct tax research and analysis
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors
• Lead tax department and mentor team members
• Ensure adherence to all tax laws and regulations
• Participate in budgeting and financial planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation
• CPA certification required
• 7+ years tax experience, with 3+ years in management
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax law
• Experience with tax software and accounting systems
• Leadership and strategic planning skills
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities

Compensation

• Salary: $90,000 – $120,000/year
