Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax planning and compliance, ensuring that our company stays compliant with Federal and State tax laws. You will be responsible for managing a team of tax professionals, and will work closely with other departments to ensure that all tax-related matters are handled efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liability for the company
  • Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of Federal and State tax returns
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure that all tax-related matters are handled efficiently and effectively
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate these changes to the relevant departments
  • Provide advice and guidance on tax-related matters to senior management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external tax advisors and consultants
  • Oversee the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures for financial statements

Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State tax laws and regulations
  • Experience with 1040 and 1065 tax returns
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and lead a team of tax professionals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
