Tax Credit Leasing Consultant - San Francisco, CA 94132
Pay: $25/hr | Schedule: Monday through Friday

About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Tax Credit Leasing Consultant to join our property management team in San Francisco. This role is ideal for someone experienced in LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance who is passionate about affordable housing and delivering excellent resident experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage leasing activities for tax credit (LIHTC) communities
- Qualify applicants and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local affordable housing regulations
- Process certifications, recertifications, and income verifications accurately and timely
- Maintain detailed and compliant resident files
- Conduct property tours and actively market available units
- Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents
- Collaborate with property management staff to meet occupancy and compliance goals
- Stay current with changes in housing regulations and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of leasing experience, preferably in affordable housing or LIHTC properties
- Strong understanding of income calculation and compliance requirements
- Tax Credit Certification (e.g., C3P, TCS, COS) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, OneSite, AppFolio)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
