Job Details

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (New York admission preferred)
  • 2–6 years of experience handling tax controversy matters
  • Experience representing clients before the IRS and/or state taxing authorities, including audits, examinations, appeals, and collections
  • Familiarity with IRS procedures, administrative practice, and tax controversy resolution strategies
  • Experience with Tax Court litigation, penalty abatement, collections defense, or voluntary disclosures is a plus
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
