Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. One year of advanced clerical experience in tax collection, property appraisal, real estate, or related accounting environment is required. Additional experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. A Paralegal Certificate may substitute for two years of the required education.

A Mobile Unit Supervisor requires flexibility and the ability to support operational needs throughout Miami-Dade County. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with Tax Collector and DMV policies and procedures.

Please note the following important job requirements:

  • The position may require travel to various Mobile Unit locations throughout the county.
  • Supervisors are expected to drive all the units in our department.
  • The role requires flexibility in scheduling based on operational demands and community events.
  • Saturday work is a regular part of Mobile Unit operations. Saturday assignments is an expectation of the position.
  • Additional hours may be required as needed to support special events, outreach initiatives, and operational requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
