Tax Associate – Real Estate Investment Management

We’re partnering with a well-established, Boston-based real estate investment firm to add a Tax Associate to their growing team. This is a high-impact role supporting a diverse portfolio of real estate investments, offering strong exposure to REITs, partnerships, and complex tax structures.

Compensation: $100,000-115,000 + bonus 

What You’ll Do:

• Support tax compliance, reporting, and planning across partnerships, corporations, REITs, and funds
• Review federal/state tax returns and manage quarterly/annual tax filings
• Assist with REIT compliance testing and identify potential issues
• Calculate taxable income, tax provisions, and estimated payments
• Partner with external tax advisors and respond to tax authority inquiries
• Conduct tax research and support strategic tax initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
• 3-5 years of public accounting or private industry experience required
• Real Estate tax experience 
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
• Experience with CCH or BNA Fixed Assets is a bonus
