This is not a “sit in a corner and review returns” type of role. What You’ll Be Doing
- Review and prepare complex tax returns including:
- Lead and oversee financial statement and assurance engagements
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients
- Identify tax planning and advisory opportunities
- Mentor and develop staff accountants and seniors
- Help improve processes, training, and workflow efficiencies
- Manage multiple engagements while maintaining high-quality service
What They’re Looking For
- CPA or EA required
- Public accounting experience in tax and/or audit
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience with multi-state tax returns preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Someone who enjoys being part of a team-oriented environment
