Title: Tax Analyst

Summary:

  • The primary purpose of the Tax Analyst role is to provide subject‑matter expertise in tax reporting and cost basis to validate business requirements, support system testing, analyze data outputs, and ensure that vendor solutions meet regulatory, operational, and business needs before and after implementation.

  • Support requirements definition and validation for tax reporting and cost basis processes

  • Review and analyze tax data outputs from Broadridge 3.0 and Maxit platforms

  • Execute and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and parallel testing activities

  • Identify, document, and assist with resolution of data, reporting, and process issues

  • Participate in reconciliations between legacy systems, vendor platforms, and downstream consumers

Support tax operations readiness, including process documentation and control considerations

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • Strong knowledge of tax reporting

  • Experience of understanding cost basis within financial services

  • Experience supporting system implementations or large‑scale platform changes

  • Understanding of IRS reporting requirements (e.g., 1099, cost basis reporting)

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and validate complex datasets

  • Experience in securities, brokerage, or investment operations (preferred)

  • Exposure to regulatory examinations, audits, or tax controls (preferred)

  • Advanced Excel or data analysis skills (preferred)

  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments (preferred)
