Tax Accountant - Real Estate Firm - Boston - Hybrid  

A real estate investment firm is seeking a Tax Associate to support tax compliance, reporting, and planning across their diverse portfolio. This role partners with senior tax leadership and offers exposure to complex structures, including partnerships, REITs, and corporate entities.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review taxable income, tax basis, and entity-level calculations
• Support federal and state tax compliance and filings across multiple entities
• Assist with REIT compliance testing and monitoring
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and manage deliverables
• Maintain depreciation schedules and support fixed asset reporting
• Research tax regulations and assess impact across the portfolio
• Assist with tax provisions, distributions, and investor reporting
• Respond to tax inquiries and support audits as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred 
• 4+ years of tax experience, preferably within real estate, partnerships, or REITs
• Advanced Excel proficiency

This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented tax professional looking to grow within a collaborative and stable investment platform. The expected compensation range for this position is between $100K-$120K, plus bonus.
