Our client, a well-established and growing local CPA firm, is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed CPA who enjoys working in a collaborative, client-focused environment and handling a diverse portfolio of individual and business tax clients.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for:
Individuals (1040)
Corporations (C-Corp)
S Corporations
Partnerships, trusts, and other entities as needed
Conduct tax planning and advisory services for individuals and business clients
Research tax issues and stay current on changing tax laws and regulations
Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide guidance
Assist clients with notices, audits, and tax authority correspondence
Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend proactive strategies
Support year-end tax projections and quarterly estimated payments
Collaborate with firm leadership on client service initiatives and process improvements
Requirements
- Active CPA license required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of public accounting tax experience preferred
- Strong experience preparing 1040, Corporate, and S Corporation returns
- Knowledge of current federal and state tax laws
- Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines during busy season
