Overview:

As part of Canad Inns, Leaders are expected to:

  • Partner closely with the Tavern United Manager and Food and Beverage Manager to ensure departmental goals, initiatives, and performance align with the company's overall direction.
  • Support not only their own department but the success of all teams on the property through communication, shared accountability, and proactive problem‑solving.
  • Build high‑performing teams through clear expectations, structured training, consistent coaching, and developing future leaders.
  • Understand their department's revenue streams, cost drivers, forecasting responsibilities, and full P&L impact, making informed decisions that protect and grow profitability.
  • Lead with professionalism, integrity, and hospitality, setting the tone for service culture and operational consistency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Key areas of operational excellence include:
  • Support the execution of service standards maintaining an organized, guest-focused atmosphere resolving guest issues promptly
  • Promote positive morale, teamwork, and recognition by assisting in recruiting and interviewing, onboarding, and on-shift coaching
  • Responsible to review and understand financial targets to include: daily sales, labor %, comps, voids, and waste. Assist with inventories and ordering processes where delegated.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies for health, safety, food, and alcohol sales.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Food & Beverage management experience required.
  • Experience scheduling, hiring, training, coaching, and disciplining staff.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, time management, and leadership abilities.
  • Strong technology skills, with proficiency in various software platforms.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Flexible and adaptable to constant change.
  • This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
