We are hiring an experienced CIPP Sewer Lining Tap Cutter Operator based out of the Baltimore/DC Area, supporting sewer rehabilitation projects across the region and nationally. This role requires hands-on proficiency with robotic reinstatement cutter systems inside cured-in-place pipe lined sewer infrastructure. The CIPP Tap Cutter Operator will work a minimum of 40 hours per week and must be prepared for extensive travel.

Key Responsibilities - CIPP Sewer Lining Tap Cutter Operator
- Operate robotic tap cutting and lateral reinstatement equipment inside CIPP-lined sewer systems safely and accurately
- Perform daily preventative maintenance including greasing, filter changes, tightening, and interior/exterior equipment cleaning
- Monitor and control processing operations, maintaining hourly operating logs and documenting abnormal conditions
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and initiate emergency shutdown procedures when safety or equipment integrity is at risk
- Document and report equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, and project status to supervision
Qualifications - CIPP Sewer Lining Tap Cutter Operator
- Minimum 3 years of experience in lateral service reinstatements and robotic tap cutting operations
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and maintain robotic reinstatement cutter systems
- CDL Class A or Class B with Tanker endorsement preferred
- Ability to travel 75%-90% of the time for project assignments across the U.S.
- Strong attention to detail in recordkeeping, safety compliance, and equipment care
- Ability to travel 1-2 weeks at a time on overnights.
Preferred Qualifications - CIPP Pipe Lining Reinstatement Cutter Technician
- Prior experience with multiple robotic cutter platforms (e.g., lateral launch systems, pan-and-tilt camera units)
- Familiarity with NASSCO PACP/LACP inspection standards or sewer CCTV operations
- Experience working in confined space environments with valid confined space entry training
- Knowledge of OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 construction safety standards
Physical Requirements - CIPP Sewer Lining Tap Cutter Operator
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Frequent standing, kneeling, and working in outdoor and underground environments
- Exposure to wastewater, confined spaces, and variable weather conditions
- Standard shift is 8-10 hours; overtime and extended schedules occur on active projects
- Travel required 75%-90% of the time; valid driver's license required
