Lets Talk About Your QualificationsRequirements High School Diploma or equivalent.Basic understanding of metal repair and fabrication.Familiarity with reading blueprints and engineering drawings.Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math addition subtraction multiplication division.Competent in understanding and following verbal and written instructions.Able to lift carry or move objects weighing over 50 lbs with assistance.Knowledge of shop safety procedures and practices.Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate and learn.About the RoleThe Welder Mechanic I is an entry-level role focused on the repair and maintenance of tank trailers and containers. This position involves hands-on work in various aspects of trailer repair including welding electrical systems plumbing insulation painting and general fabrication. While direct supervision is provided the role requires a foundational understanding of repair techniques and adherence to safety standards.Candidates must be physically capable of working in environments that involve heights confined spaces and exposure to loud noise fumes and dust.
